Location: It is situated about 10 kilometers (about 6 miles) north of Kashgar City.
Brief intro: Built in 1953, Kashgar Airport is the second largest airport in Xinjiang only after the Urumqi Airport. More than 60,000 square meters (about 14.8 acres) parking apron and 28,000 meters (about 6.9 acres) airstrip provide fairly good condition for the landing and taking-off of planes.
