Xi`an is also the starting point of the world famous Silk Road.In the Tang Dinasty a lot of foreigners came here from the Silk Road,and they brought us their culture and goods,like dance,camel,grape,carrot,etc.
So Chang`an (the name of ancient Xi`an )was an international metropolis in the world at that time.
