My husband and I are leaving for China next week. On our way back, we need to travel from Guangzhou to Hong Kong on our own, and would like to take the train or ferry. We are both experienced travellers, but lots of luggage, we'd like to keep this trip as simple as possible. I'm looking for suggestions and advice on the following. Can we take the express train to the Hong Kong international airport and leave our luggage in the airport overnight? (We fly out the next morning) Anyone know where I can find the timetable for express train or ferry service? How is luggage handled? Any recommendations or ideas that I'm not even asking about? Thanks!

You can take a train or direct bus to Hong Kong from Guangzhou. If you are using train, you can take a direct train to Hong Kong station and take another Airport express to airport. If you are taking bus, you can take the direct bus from Garden Hotel Guangzhou to Hong Kong Airport. (I think this is the best way for you if you carry luggages).
You can leave luggage there in airport for some fees.
