Is there an overnight train from Hongkong to Beijing, vice versa? How long is the trip and how much for second class? I plan to go there in February 2006. Is that a good month? |

hi i think there is no direct train from Hongkong to Beijing. You should go to Guangzhou and take train here. there is night train from Guangzou to Beijing.
it costs 458Rmb for second class(hard sleeper) |

Hey, pls avoid spending ur time on china at this time each year, it's now the holiday of chinese new year, people are rushing to coming back their hometown by train, even the homesickers are unable to get their tickets, let alone the travelors. |
