I have travelled through Europe but never to Asia. I am thinking about planning a trip to Hong Kong in 2006. Just a few questions:
1.) Is 10 days enough, or should I try 2 weeks?
2.) What does a guy in his early 30's do in Hong Kong? Is it your typcical big-city feel like New York or London?
3.) What should I budget per week? I don't want to live like a king, but I do want to travel comfortably.

Hong Kong is a great place but I don't think you need 2 full weeks. Probably 5 days or so max. However, if you are going all the way to Hong Kong, you should see more of the region. There are many interesting places within a reasonably short flight from Hong Kong. Personally, I would recommend Thailand, though you wouldn't have enough time to do it justice. There are many spots in China to visit.
