Flights from Kathmandu to Lhasa? |

I found a Tibet tour that looks very promising, but they say I have to arrange my own flights in and out of Kathmandu. Apparently Orbitz and Cheaptickets.com do not deal with flights from Katmandu (anyone know why?) Travelocity does, but the rate they list is ridiculous ($1670 a person for a 20 minute flight!!)
Is there some trick I am missing here? |

There are flights from Kathmandu(KTM)to Lahsa but due to winter season i suppose they had discontinued the service. But pls check with some travel agents.Or take a flight to Chengdu in China and from Chengdu take a flight to Lahsa.But iam sure if flights operate during winter season.
