There is no place in the world like Dalian to eat seafood. With 3/4 of its coast surrounded by sea, it is no wonder that Dalian consumes a vast amount of seafood, especially shellfish. It is also a major exporter of seafood.
One problem it faces now is that they cannot produce enough cultivated abalone for local consumption. The wild stock of the abalone is dying out. Catches are getting smaller.
A major seafood exposition has been planned for next year. |
