I think to go to China this winter for to meet my girl...
I go alone without any tourist group... so i would like just to get some infos:)

1)When i arrive in the airport... have i to fill some "immigration card" or some other doc?

2)What about customs? Do i have to fill some declaration? (in some countries they ask even to declare the mobile phone...)

3)A time there... do i need to do some registration??? If yes, the hotel can do it for me or i have to go to the police?

4)Do u think that it is a bad idea to go there in winter??? (i thought the end of Jan)

5)A time there... for to go to a city to another do i need some special visa?

6)More in general is there smth that i should know before to go???

As a lonely traveler, I was twice in China. The last time was in November. So my impressions could be useful for you.
When you arrive in the airport, you must fill a “immigration card” where you declare if you are bringing some special things. Some things are forbidden. This form is distributed by the crew during the flight. Ask them.
You can’t introduce some determinate things in China.
After you come in China, it’s not necessary to do any registration.
The best time to visit China depends of you. I avoid visiting China in winter and autumn, because I live in a tropical country, where in the winter we swim in the beach, drink cold beer, and don’t use coats. So I prefer to visit China in summer and in the spring. The north of China, Beijing and Xián are very cold for me even in the autumn.
About special visa, you will need one if you intend to visit Tibet. I don’t know if there are another place you need one too. But, you will never see this visa: you pay a travel agency and they organize your trip to Lhasa.
If you need another impressions of a foreigner, that as you, go alone to China, return me. I will be glad to answer you. Of course, my friends of TCG, that live in China, can correct some of my eventual mistakes.
