I am thinking of heading to chongqin from xian in january .
what is the best way to travel for a single individual and is a suitcase going to be in the way? I need the room for souvenirs from tibet, so i need something to carry them and a back pack is just not going to cut it. I would like to see a few things on the way but dont have a lot of time, probable 3-4 days. is this going to be ok, or am I better flying down?

The 6300 kilometres long Yangtze River is the longest river in China and the third longest in the world .There are numerous scenic spots and historic sites in the 22 cities the river goes through. Among them, the 193 kilometres Yangtze Three Gorges, from Fengjie County to Yichang, is the most famous one.So the end of Yangtze River cruise depend on which tour group you join. example: if u take China Holidays ’Yangtze River Cruise' runs between Chongqing and Wuhan.
