So, I've been somewhat trapped due to the lack of train tickets in China for new years. Does anybody know when tickets tend to become available again? I'm planning a trip around the tenth, just wondering if by then things will have calmed down a bit by then.

Trains are generally empty on the last day of the old year (Feb. 8th), everyone wants to be at home that day. |

You can get train ticktes from China postal, even if the train station tells you NO. |
