I'm planning to travel in the last week of 2005, have not decided if it'd be Shanghai first or Beijing first. Anyhow, could anyone share on their experience/advice on taking domestic flights from either cities:

1. What's the best time to take a domestic flight? And also the times to avoid.(In terms of less crowd, faster customs clearance, less chances of flight delays etc) I'll be probably flying mid-week.

2. What's the best carrier to take if money is not an issue? And of cos, the one to absolutely avoid at all costs.

3. What's the best way to secure domestic flights online? Any websites recommendations would be appreciated.

1. Flying at night is usually less crowded and you get through faster.

2. Shanghai Airlines is recommended by many.
