Hi,
I would like to enter Tibet from Nepal, and don't know whether it is better to travel overland to Lhasa or to fly from Kathmandu.
My main concerns are whether the border crossing in this direction is troublesome, the altitude (I've read of some high passes you'd need to cross) and the time required.
I'd prefer to go overland, but I'd love to hear your opinions.

it's high altitude so the air is thin, but it's certainly possible. some people cover this trip by bicycle. flight ,I think,isn't much interesting as overland
