We plan to set out on the 10th of next August , I wanna know 1. is there serious altitude sickness to fly to Zhongdian from Guangzhou directly, and is it better for us to fly nonstop to Lijiang.? 2 ,Probably we may get to Zhongdian at 9:30a.m., which scenic sopts can be arranged for us to visit on the same day? 3. From Zhongdian to Lijiang , how should I arrange the route on the same day (want to visit Hutiao on the way,.is it feasible ? ) ???

The elevation is more than 3,000 meters, generally you will not have too great response , pay attention to keep the mental state calm and do not do violent sports quickly. . .
It varies from person to person ..I met guests in Zhongdian after getting off the plane (at an elevation of 3250 metrs ), there was heavier altitude sickness on the same day , so that they had to change the journey in the original plan. In my opinion, you may fly to Lijiang firstly (at the elevation of 2400 metrs), go to Zhongdian after staying for one or two days in Lijiang, which will lighten a lot to the person with response. Zhongdian -- Lijiang (or Lijiang --Zhongdian , the same), you can visit the Small Zhongdian , Hutiao Gorge , " the first of Changjiang River " on the way..

The best way to prevent altitude sickness and the serious health risks it poses is to take your time going from sea level to high altitude - but, as we have seen, that's often impractical. Another way is to use supplemental oxygen - but who wants to carry around a tank of oxygen all day? If your vacation happens to be in the Andes, a popular remedy for altitude sickness is mate de' coca - literally, a tea made from coca leaves. Although locals swear by its efficacy, it would be extremely unwise to try to import coca leaves for any use (tea or otherwise!) into the United States.
