Xi'an to Guiyang by train, how much does it cost? |

Looking at trains on travelchinaguide.com, there seems to be only 1 train (2334/2335/2337) that will take you from Xi'an to Guiyang. Can anyone verify this? I don't want to make any stops/layover between Xi'an and Guiyang and I don't want to buy Duncan's train time tables? Are there any soft sleepers or seats on this train, travelchinaguide.com states so but i want to make sure?
Next, the train takes over 24 hours to get to Guiyang and I may consider flying instead. I looked into elong.net and the price is quoted at Y840 for weekdays and weekend flights. Has anyone been able to find cheaper fares than this through travel agencies located in Xi'an. With three days notice before flight departure, do you think travel agencies will have a hard time finding cheap fares? |
