Visa for India in Hong Kong, give me your hand!!!!!!! |

Can anyone let me know the following about obtaining an India Visa in Hong Kong. We both hold British passports and would be looking for a one months tourist stay - flying into New Delhi.
1. How do I go about obtaining one? Through an agent or direct with embassy?
2. How long will it take?
3. How much will it cost?
thanks for any hints |

With the embassy.
They're at 16 D, United Centre, 95 Queensway - opposite Pacific Place above Admiralty MTR.
If you don't have a HK ID, they need an extra few days to send your details to Delhi for which they charge you HKD100 (turn up with a copy of the PP)
If no objections are raised by Delhi you return to the embassy, drop off your passports in the morning and pick up them up again same day in the afternoon.
I don't think they do one month - they're all three or six months. I had three months double entry and it was, I think just under HKD400 plus the HKD100 for the fax to Delhi.
i hope it would help you |
