My friends and I will drive to Chengdu meanwhile visit some places by ourselves from Shanghai. Could you recommend a more convenient itinerary for us? How long does it take? Thank you very much!

The itinerary can be the one,
Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei-Wuhan-Yichang-Enshi-Nanchong-Chengdu. It will take you three days. Most of the road is highway.
