We are interested in hiking the high trail of tiger leaping gorge from Qiaotou to Walnut Grove in mid Nov during my China tour and would like to know more about the weather there. Is mid Nov still in the raining season? Is it necessary to hire a guide? Any info is welcome. Thanks. |

The raining season in Yunnan is from July to September. The weather would be fine in November. But it will be snowing in Zhongdian from the end of November to February. I think it is Okay for you to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge in Mid Nov. it is 2~3 hours far away from Zhongdian by car. |
