Best way between Shanghi and Xian |

I would like to get to Xian from Shanghi leaving Shanghi on a Friday or Sat. to return to Shanghi on Monday night. Any suggestions?
Also, how is the money exchange rate between US and China. Will I find things inexpensive, moderate or the same? |

There are several flights between Xian and Shanghai daily.. always easy to get a ticket and go.. price is about 1000rmb one way - 2 hours for the flight.
If you bring cash to change into RMB, it is about $1=Y8.2.
Shanghai is more expensive than Xian.. Everything in Xian is extremely cheap and sometimes you even wish to pay them more as people are so poor but nice there..
Shanghai is not so expensive either but really depends on where you go.. some places, like certain restaurants will charge you western stardard.. |
