what good places for vegeterian food are in Beijing? Actually I look for not pure vegeterian kitchen , but without meat.

The most special one should be the Longhuashu vegetarian restaurant at the foot of Fragrant Hill, without any menu. Dishes there are very simple but delicious.

I found two really good vegetarian restaurants whilst in Beijing
The first one is called
Moonlight on the Lotus Pond (He Tang Yue Si)
Building No. 12
Zuojiazhuang Xijie (Look for their sign at front driveway or turn into drive way near the M.BN shop.)

15 minutes by taxi from the Gonti Intl Backpackers, left out east gate and drive 10-15 minutes, cross major intersection towards 11o'clock drive down small shopping street to end, turn left, and left again into Zuojizhuang Xijie, entrance and sign is on the right hand side.

Its a long walk down this road, taxis are not permitted on this street.
so if you are coming from the direction of Tianamen Square its on the left hand side of the road after a major intersection.
