Hi, all. I am going to Tibet next month.What's the weather like in November there? Going to be very cold? And, how about the food there, spicy, heavy? Can a foreingner be used to it? I mean ,do I need to take some biscuits, etc, with me. BTW, can I rent a cell phone in China? I guess my US phone may fails to work there! Thanks for any tips!  |

Tibet weather in November Average High 52/55F,Average Low 22/25F,I think it is not much spicy so you can be usd to it,about rental phone I think you can rent in Beijing ,Shanghai but not in Lhasa.

Do not be worried about the food, if you can not be used to Tibet food, there are a lot of other options for you. Restaurants serve Tibetan, Chinese, and even western food.So, do not need bother yourself to take any food with you. Just relax.
As for the phone rental, I can recommend one agency, www.toufone.com. Just order on line, it's not expensive, and reliable.
