best ( cheap) way of a touring to Yi Shan from Pudong |

Would you please tell me the best (hopefully not too expensive) way to get to Yi Shan Lu (near Xue Jai Hui) from Pudong Airport at around mid-night? It seems that all airport buses and trains will be stopped by mid-night but how the people working at the airport get home??? Is taxi the only way? How much should I expect to pay for such a distance (seems ~30km)??? Do taxis run on meters? or need to agree a price with the driver before hand???
Please help. Thanks a lot. |

Not necessary to take a taxi.
There are overnight Airport shuttle buses commuting between downtown area and the airport.
I don't remember whether there's a stop at Xujiahui, but at least it passes Huashan Road, which is not far from Xujiahui.
Just take the bus, asking the conductors where to get off.
Good luck! |

cHI! I did not take the taxi into Puxi at this hour but I have taken them into Pudong. It cost me about 150RMB (for the 1 hour journey) and since you have to cross the river into Puxi, it should be more. They run on meters so little danger of getting fleeced.
I can't remember if there are alternatives means of transport if you arrive into SH that late. |
