suggestion of which cities I should visit around Shanghai |
|
|
I am going to China for 2 weeks, starting from Shanghai. I will like some ideas as to where I should go. I will like to see a few cities while I am there, i.e. Suzhou, Hangzhou... Do you have any suggestions as to which cities I should visit after Shanghai, and in what order?
Thanks! |

maybe there are some desitinations suit for your ideas,Starting from ShangHai,you can visit Hangzhou by train, two days one night tour,Hangzhou is renowned as one of the six famous ancient capitals of China. West Lake (Xihu) is an especially popular destination for its picturesque scenery and associations with many famous emperors, poets and painters.
From Hangzhou bus station, you should go to Huangshan mountain(yellow mountain),it take almost 3 hours on speedway,Huangshan moutain and Huizhou city need four days three night at least.
i think huangshan moutain is probably the most famous Chinese mountain. The Yellow Mountain is a marvel: within an area of 154 square kilometers there are a crowd of peaks, 72 of which have names indicating the shapes they resemble. Lotus Flower Peak, Bright Summit Peak and Celestial Capital Peak are the three major ones, all rising above 1,800 meters. And the fantastic pines, the grotesque rocks, the sea of clouds and the hot springs are the four major attractions of the Yellow Mountains. In addition to the beautiful mountain scenery, the well-preserved ancient villages around huangshan mountain are derived from the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 ~ 1911). Most impressive ones are in Xidi and Hongcun in Yixian County near Mount Huangshan. It is really a sight worth seeing and a must for visitors who are keen to learn more about life during those years. Shexian County, reputed as Town of Arches, is also a must for each visitor to experience fine examples of residential architecture from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the unique Tangyue Memorial Archway.
from huangshan moutain ,you can visit Guilin directly by airplane.it take two hours.in Gulin city and yangshuo county,it need four days and three night at least.
Guilin City, regarded as one of the most beautiful places in China. It is more enjoyable to visit Yangshuo after some time on the road.
Favorate Routes:
Cycling Yangshuo:
Set off from Yangshuo County, Enjoy the rural beauty until you see a sign indicating "Moon Village" at the opposite road.
Ride from Baishajinbao Road, Yangshuo. After ten minutes you will arrive at Yulong Bridge. Then challenge rafting in Yulong River. Then pass Yantang and drive up about 5 kilometers to Fuli Bridge.
Meandering in Yangshuo
Yangdi-Xingping 18 kilometers in lijiang river, Meandering requiring 7 or 8 hours .You will be amazed by Jiumahua Mountain and Xingping. Cross the dock at the foot of Jiumahua Mountain. And at dawn, find a raft to drift on Lijiang.
west street (xijie )in yangshuo ,a lot of bar are waiting for you enjoying ,i am sure that you can meet your country man at there ,it is a best way to cure the homesick.
from guilin airport ,the final station is beijing ,the capital of china ,if you never have been there,it is worth to go ,about beijing ,you can go google, thousands answer!
all above is my suggestion, best wish for your trip.
