how much about these tips on a trip to HK? |

I Will go to HK next week , and will live in the Wenhuadongfang. I’d like to know something about the tip in Hong Kong. For example how much should I pay to a hotel porter as the tip? And how much tips should I pay to have a meal in a hotel? Whether should I pay tips to the taxi driver? Tips are must be paid to attendants in some countries , however, I have never been to Hong Kong , so ask something firstly. Thanks. |

It is generally 15% to have a meal in a hotel, however, if the hotel charges the service fare, it is unnecessary to give tips. It seldom give tips to the taxi driver, however,the driver seldom give changes. For example, your fare is 21. 2 yuan, and you give a driver 22 yuan, he no longer gives change.
It usually adds 10% service charge to have a meal in the hotel, you only need to give changes while paying the bill |
