Last year I spent three hours riding around in several taxis visiting the various hotels in Suzhou listed in Rough Guide and Lonely Planet as costing less than around RMB150, as well as several others. They all denied having any rooms for less than around RMB300, and those listed as having dorms denied having dorms. I asked taxi drivers and others for recomendations for cheaper hotels and was directed to a couple, but they claimed that they were not allowed to accept foreigners. Can anyone recommend a hotel in Suzhou costing not more than RMB150 for a room or even a dorm bed that is allowed to accept foreigners?

Dongwu Hotel is the cheapist hotel I found from net,Two-Star,standard room (180 RMB/night, including free breakfasts).You can't find any cheaper one I think.
