I just booked a tour with Ritz Tours--3 days shanghai, 4 days cruising the Yangtze River with Victoria Cruise Lines and 1 day Shanghai--for $999 from Los Angeles! Could'nt pass it up. Leaving Aug 22 for 10 days? What should I expect weatherwise? What is acceptable dress? Shorts ok? We'll be on a tour bus doing major highlights. First night in Beijing we're on our own staying at New Otani. Suggestions for dinner? Does anyone know the dress code for the evenings on the Cruise? Where is best place to change money and is cash or credit card better? Is there a departure tax? We have one nite eaach in Wuhan at the Holiday Inn Riverside and in Shanghai at the REgal East Asia Hotel--suggestions for dinner? Do we take a taxi? What about tipping practices? All suggestions welcome. We want this to be a memorable trip and don't want to offend anyone.

I can say the taxi fee ,it costs 10RMb for frist three kilometer and 3-10 kiometer you should pay 2RMb for each if the cover is above 10 kilometer you pay 3RMB for extra part.
