apply for a "D" visa for residing in China |

I plan to live in China with my Chinese wife and our 2year old US born daughter. Does anyone know the requirements for this type of situation. I know there is a "D" visa, but not sure of the implications and freedom of travel back to the US.
Our stay will be indefinite and may just be permanent. Any knowledge about this is appreciated. Of course I will seek legal advice before taking any action, I am just tring to learn as much as I can.

I think you should find a job in China,get the work certification ,and by this case ,you can get permanent living visa in China,I know some guys like this.
maybe it is also fit for you.
