Hi
I know about the difficulties to go along the Xinjiang Highway as an individual. I have time, have winterclothes and tent and might try that trip.
My only question is: has anyone any experience of the check points on that road. How many ones? Where? What behaviour? Shall I cross by night, come with a smile or cross through the forest? Thanks. |

Yeah some guys did it ,they are Uighurs who live in Xinjiang,one guy did this trip with motorcycle five years ago ,and he also cross the Taklamakan desert with motorcycle in ten days ,to my remember ,it should be arround september.
I hdon't know the details but I hope you can do it. |
