Hey guys!!
i am planning a trip to china and want to stay about 2 - 3 months in sichuan, yunnan and tibet (plus few days in shanghai)
my budget is limited.. so.. would you think i could make it somehow with 20 $ a day???
including train-tickets (maybe even the flight to lhasa..?) .....
or would i need to fast then?
What do you think?? |

I was there last summer. You can stay the night at hostel for about $15.US. You can eat really cheap. Less than $5.00 a day. You can find cheaper ways of transporting yourself. |

Jean, Let somebody write you a card in Chinese, to the effect of "I am a foreigner travelling in China. Somehow, I have very limited budget. Would you please find me a clean room under $10?" Then, they will know you are not here to close the deals between CNOOC and Unocal. |
