help for a trip initerary from Shanghai to Hongkong |

I would like some advice on an itinerary of my tour I have planned for the 8 days I will have spare to make my way from Shanghai to Hong Kong.
Shanghai-Putuoshan-Shanghai-Hangzhou-Hong Kong-Macau-Hong Kong
I would really appreciate some advice/comments on
1) whether this is a good itinerary (and/or recommendations for an alternative)
2) how much time I should plan to spend in each place
3) what is the best way to get to HK from Hangzhou

I think during this tour you could add a swing through some of Su Zhou or the other cities around the canals. If you don't want to backtrack into Shanghai you can go to Ning Bo and then over to Hang Zhou.
1. It is good depending on what you are trying to see and if this is your first time in China.
2. Again, what do you want to see?
3. Fast is Airplane and to see things a little more you can take a train. Get a hard sleeper and mingle with the folks. |
