Internet Cafe in China |
|
|
I was there this October and found cheap, excellent-quality internet cafes
all over the place. I think the most I paid was US$1/hr for good broadband;
usually about half that. The $1/hr price was at my hotel, when I was too
lazy to go out to get online.
When in doubt, head to the area where they sell the computer stuff (such as
the big computer mall on Chao Yang Men Wai daije near Dong Da Qiao daije in Chao Yang area). The people there can always give you the latest low-down.
But I had no trouble finding spots in the Wang Fu Jing area just by asking
random teenagers.
I wouldn't be so sure about DVD writers in internet cafes, though. For that
you'd probably have to go to the computer mall. CD burners are common. |
