Does anyone have any information on "Hiker Youth Hostel" in Shanghai, China?
Have you experienced the place? Good/Bad?

Is this the place near the Bund? Have not stayed there, but it looks nice from the outside and has a great location. Bunkbeds at 50yuan and private rooms at 180. You can get cheaper private rooms elsewhere though--round the corner on Hongkong street is the Hongking bingguan at 138yuan a night.
From the train station, take the line 1 metro, change at People's square stop for line 2 going east, and get off at Henan zhonglu. From there, walk east on nanjinglu till Jianxi lu then turn north past beijinglu junction and the hotel's on your right. |
