Q for you knowledgable Shanghaiers: Is there a direct bus to Hangzhou from Pudong Airport.? I arrive in the morning on an International flight & haven't quite worked out how I am getting back home. At the moment it looks like Bus to Shanghai; metro to Meillong, train to HGH, bus to Bus Station, bus home- (about 5 hours all up) A direct bus to HGH would shortcut 3 of those. |

Yes, as far as I know there is a direct bus from Shanghai, Pudong airport to Suzhou. you need to go outside and then upstairs to where the long distance buses are. From memory, it took a couple of hours (if memory serves). Don't know the time of the last bus though.
the bus to Hangzhou goes from the same place as the Suzhou bus. As I recall, one of the airlines (or the CAAC?) runs a bus to and from Hangzhou as well |
