I'm going to Xinjiang starting from the 15th of August to make little tour
I haven't been to China for the last 3 years and by that time Euro currency was not accepted everywhere.
How is it now in Xinjiang region? Can I use Euro, or it is better I bring Dollars for my next travel?

I think it is usually better to have US $$ with you. With that being said I would think that the Euro has taken root. China is using the Euro as one of the currencies that the Y. floats against.Euro are certainly convertable at the major banks and 5 star hotels in Urumqi. Dollars may be more handy in some of the smaller town however.RMB is best currency in Xinjiang.
In some small city, the currency exchange service is not convient.
So you can exchange the money in Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an,Guangzhou like this big city.
And if you go to Xinjiang, you'd better visit northen Xinjiang,as the dollar or Euro is possible to change
