Does anyone know of a place in Shanghai to arrange a flight and permit/tour etc to Tibet? We were going to Chengdu, but now look as if it will be from Shanghai
Any help would be much appreciated

the agency there knew less about it than me, and ended up suggesting go via Chengdu - it only adds a day and is worth seeing anyway.
there are 6 flight to Lhasa a day... and easy to get Tibet Permit...and u ahve any other option because all flights to Lhasa will go through Chengdu anyway.Any travel agency can arrange it for you. The flights are expensive.
You can get the Tibet Travel Permit up to 20 days before you plan to enter Tibet. |
