I am contemplating going down to Kazakhstan if crossing the border and getting the visa is not a hassle. Any idea how I could cross over from Xinjiang. Can we cross from Yili.
Alternatively, we could travel to Inner Mongolia if there is nothing much to venture in North Eastern Xinjiang.
Your suggestions would be most appreciated. |

Yeah ,you can cross Yili and bus is from Yili to Kazagistan,and it is cheaper to take bus than take train from Urumqi,
Most of the adventure travel are in the southern Xinjiang so I hope you go south part ,or you also can miss it |
