Hi all,
I'm going to be in Shanghai between August 7-12 and was wondering where to go, what to do etc?
I'll be staying at the Oriental Riverside hotel (any good?) and will have free evenings and a couple of days to see the sights while I'm there.
I'd appreciate any feedback from people who have visited or are residents.

your hotel is on the Pudong site near the Pearl Tower and the River either 4star or 5star so should be good. It is also in walking distance to Subway, ferrry and the Bund Tunnel.
If you have free time in the evening walk to the Jin Mao Tower (Hyatt Hotel) highest building at the moment in Shanghai and go to the Cloud 9 Bar good look over the city and very nice to relax
a couple of days are everything you need to see the main sights of Shanghai.
