Hi all,

I would like to ask some questions. Actually I'd never gone to Urumqi-Kashgar but I make a little research about these places to make a short story. What I want to ask is:


1. About the route:
- s it possible to make a trip by car with route: Urumqi - Yanqi - Korla - Kuqa - Aksu - Bachu - Kashgar?

- is this route able to do: Urumqi - Turpan - Korla - Kuqa - Aksu - Bachu - Kashgar?

- how long the trip from Urumqi - Kashgar via Turpan? and how long if not passing Turpan?

2. In july, what time the sun will rise and set? Somebody said that the sun will set at 11 PM. Is that true?

3. How do we get Tian Shan from Urumqi (Heavenly Lake). and how long does it take?

4. Anybody had a file of Xinjiang roadway? It would be helped.

There are flights between Beijing and Urumqi. Urumgi is connected to kashgar by flights, train and buses. There are also buses to Turpan from Urumqi. Theres trainconnections between Urumqi and Dunhuang (bus the last part). No direct buses anymore. I don't know about flights between Beijing and Dunhuang.
