My first time to China - one week Shanghai late December. Looking for a good, cheap hotel in the french Concession area ($30us approx).
Very cold then? |

Hengshan Bing Guan on Hengshan Road and Wanping Road is not bad; it's near the park (you can watch the nightly ballroom dancing) and loads of restaurants on Tianyaoqiao Road. It usually is quite cold this time of year, but it has been very mild recently. Dry and sunny. I usually still recommend people to bring silk long underwear, as it is pretty windy. |
