Can anyone recommend good tour centres in Dali & Lijiang where we can rent mountain bikes, arrange river rafting & mountain trekking? |

Taking this tour by yourself is excellent. Dali and Lijiang are really well worth a visit. If there are some problems in communication, you can seek the local agent for help. I have been there by myself last year. Perfect. |

These days there are many tour guides in Lijiang, but not many for the surrounding areas. I would suggest first going to Lijiang and finding one through the very friendly tourist office located in Old Town. You can rent good mountain bikes at many of the shops and cafes in old town for a very low price and the bikes are fair. There are plenty of foreigners living in Lijiang and are easy to find and they may be helpful! |
