Hello,If you are already in Kunming and want to extend your visa(visiting visa), you can go to the local security office to ask for a temporary resident permit, then you can go to the city security office to ask for visa extention. Depending on your situation, you may need to provide some documents. |

Foreign Affairs Branch of the PSB on Beijing Lu, closes for lunch. They speak English there. Depends on which country you are from, the charges are different for visa extensions. Usually they give only one month extension at the most. Bring your air ticket to prove you plan to go home someday. |
