live and travel on a low budget for six months in Shanghai |
|
|
hey I'm going to Shanghai to do voluntary work in August but only 4 and a half months of that is voluntary and I'm allowed 6 weeks travelling at the end.....so I'm wondering if any one has any tips for me because I'm only a student and don't expect I'll have very much money to spend but I want to see things like the great wall, terracotta soldiers ect......so if any one can help I'll be extremely grateful

well let's see.
1. Accomodation: almost every city which worth visiting has Youth Hostel. Extremly for budget travel. you can easily find them on their site www.IYHF.org.
2.comunication:take trains and buses.Arrange before hand so that you could save your accomodation cost by taking a train:)
3.Dine: Choose the local vendor. CHeap and they are truly local snacks. |
