travel from Lijiang to Zhongdian |

Hi,
I'm planning to visit Yunnan in August/Sept this year. Plan route, Kunming -> Lijiang -> Zhong Dian -> Lijiang -> Kunming
At present I have problems arranging transportation from Lijian to ZhongDian. Heard that ZhongDian is the "official shangrila" and would love to visit the place for a day or two.
Appreciate if I could get some feedback on the followings from the other travellers
1. How many days to I actually need for ZhongDian?
2. Is it easy to arrange for a short trip to ZongDIan when we are in Lijiang?

Think a 2-day trip is enough.
The transport can be easily arranged by yourself. There are minibus from Lijiang to Zhongdian , it takes 5-6 hours and costs about 50 yuan per person.
Tiger leaping gorge and Lu Gu Lake are both highly recommended. |
