Hi, I’m going to travel to Beijing early of December 2008 with my family .
Please tell me, where is the best place to stay in beijing. I would prefer if the suggestions is near to all the tourist attractions and at a reasonable rate.
What is the weather like in Beijing on December ? and what kind clothes should I bring ?

I can tell you that I was in Beijing in December 2008 and it was Take cold clothes and especially gloves and a scarf ,so the temperature shock could be all the greater for you.
It wasn't Chinese New Year when I was there because in 2007 it was in February, but as I understand it there are2 days for "Spring Festival" .when most shops are closed, followed by few days called "Golden Week extension" when shop opening may be a bit erratic. However there are supposed to be lots of other things going on so I'm sure you will have a great trip . |
