Good day,

I have a few personal questions about China. I tried searching the internet but whatever subject I chose it always came up with video sites. I am interested to know how the Chinese cultures views are on Adult videos.
Is there a big market for or is it non-existint?

Are Chinese people open and expressive with their feelings and views relating to sex or are they more timid or shy?

I am aware with the size of your country and it is quiet hard to generalize but I would just like a few peoples opinions.

This is not one of my reasons for traveling to China but when going to a country it always passes through a persons mind once (maybe).
I know this is a touchy subject but most of us are aldults here, please dont take the questions to serously. Liam

I dont know what you are up to, I hope it is not what comes up first at someones mind reading your post.
But from my point of view Chinese culture is still very traditional(which is not bad). Traditionally, couples would not even kiss in public, so you get an idea how things run. (younger people sometimes dont care or they like to shock the older generation, but most of them behave like I said before). It has nothing to do with beeing shy or not expressing their feelings. Concerning Chinese people of my age, who I know, they are very outgoing and expressive in every way.
Oh, when I was looking for normal dvds (real movies, hollywood) Ive often seen some of this adult stuff hidden in one corner - if you are looking for that.

And yes there is also Western influence concerning your question: e.g. on Nanjing Lu Ive seen a sexshop recently, close to the Bund. Must be new, last year I did not see it. Friends told me you can find this kind of shop in every major city today.
