Medical Relief Organization for Septmeber |

Hi guys
I had planned to travel in this area in early September 2008.
Instead of being a tourist, I'd like to be a medical relief worker. I am a pharmacist and Search and Rescue volunteer. Does anyone have recommendations on a reputable relief organziation to join for 2 or so weeks?

Unfortunitely you cannot go now as they need every search and rescue volunteers they can get, a group of my friends teaching in Beijing just left for the earthquake zone to help.
I suggest you check with the local Red Cross, they can probably use skill people like you to help teach and prepare new volunteers for future disasters. |
