train travle from Guilin to Chongqing |

I was hoping for some information on train schedules and price from Guilin to Chongqing. After some time on web, I've not been able to find if there is rail or bus service, how long it takes, and the price. If anyone has any information, that would be helpful. Thanks! Kif |

There is no train running directly from Guilin to Chongqing, you have to make a connection. You can make this connection at GuiYang. From Guilin to GuiYang will take about 17-18hours and from GuiYang to Chongqing will take about 10hours, plus the time you stay at GuiYang station to make the connection, I would say 30hours total. And I am not sure this is the shortest route, but since GuiYang is a big city it is easy to make a connection there. Some suggestion:
take K154/151(departure 13:55,Ar next day 7:29) or K155(depart 14:08 Ar nextday 7:52)from Guilin to GuiYang, then take K202/203 from GuiYang to Chongqing (depart 10:33, Ar 20:12)
The price, from Guilin to GuiYang
hard seat,around 100 yuan
hard sleeper, 200-300.
from GuiYang to Chongqing
hard seat, 70
sleeper, 125-200.
hopefully these info helps. I get these from a Chinese website, it was updated on Nov 1st. so should be correct. |
