I was about to book the Astor House hotel (found a great rate at only $56/night) in Shanghai from July 20-23, but then read that there is a lot of construction going on in that area. I guess that the constuction is very loud and disturbing to guests at the hotel and has also cut off a walk way to shops. Does anyone know if this construction is completed or should we look at another hotel?

We are a couple in our early 30's looking for a hotel in a convenient location under $120 US a night. We were also looking at
Broadway mansions
Bund riverside
Donghu - this one also has service apartments. what is this?
Ramada Plaza -actually, this one is out of our budget right now, but if people really recommend it we could splurge. Other hotels in this category are Sofitel Hyland and Hilton
