I'm thinking of travelling from London to Hong Kong and then getting the ferry to Macau to catch a flight to London.
I'm looking for some advice as to whether it's worth spending some time in either Hong Kong or Macau and what sort of things would be recommended to see and do?If there was anyone on here with any experiences of the two places.many thanks |

I was in Hong Kong and Macau last week and would recommend both. There is lots to see in HK, and Macau has some interesting colonial buildings and history. There are also some casinos there if you are interested in that kind of thing.
I'd recommend:Victoria Peak In Hong Kong
-star ferry across the harbour
-Hong Kong Park
-Chu Lin Nunnery
-Lantau Island
-Lamma Island
hope it helps``````. |

There is an english-run forum http://eforum.macau.com/ which is moderated by locals and expats that should be able to help. |
