I am planning to go to the China for study so I need to know what type of nature and weather are given in China.

Beijing'climate is of the continental type, with cold and dry winters, .

The summers are hot owing to warm and humid monsoon winds from the southeast bringing Beijing most of its annual precipitation. January is the coldest month and July is the warmest.

Winter begins towards the end of October. The summer months, June to August, are wet and hot with about 30% of the annual precipitation.

China has a marked continental monsoonal climate characterized by great variety.

Most parts are in the northern moderate zone while the southern areas are in the tropical or subtropical zone and northern areas in the frigid zone.

Most parts of China have clear division between seasons.

In winter, the northern part cold and dry, while in summer, warm and moisture. In addition, the climate also varies with the extensive territory and various topography from region to region.

In north China, such as Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia, summer is dry and sweltering while winter is very cold. Sandstorms sometimes occur in April in this area, especially in the Inner Mongolia and Beijing area.

On the Tibet-Qinghai plateau , winter is long and extremely cold while summer is short and moderately warm. There is little precipitation in this area and the temperature fluctuation is great between day and night.

Mid-temperate zone: Jilin, northern Xinjiang

Warm-temperate zone: Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Hebei Province.

Subtropical zone: east of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Tropical zone: Hainan province, southern Taiwan, Guangdong, and Yunnan Province

Plateau climate zone: Qinghai-Tibet Plateau
