I't's been a long time that I've always wanted to go to northwest China, particularly Xinjiang. I love uyghur food (kababs, anyone?) Does anyone know where I should start? What's the best way to get there and where should I go? |

I recommend Turpan. The Flaming Mountain is quite worth visting. The raisin and honeysweet melon in Turpan
Thay are well-known around China. |

Kashgar, Hotan, Karakul Lake, Karakoram Highway, Hanas Lake, Turpan, Urumqi... and so on.
i will say generally best way is train if you have the time, flight if you
have the money. |
